Welcome to the Baille Grianan website, designed for family, friends and acquaintances to keep in touch with us and share news, photos and events.
There is a variety of content in the website including news, local interest, photos and plenty of links to other Isle of Skye websites for those who would like to learn more about the island.

The idea of a website came about because we found it very difficult to explain to people what the life is like here on Skye. By using this media with lots of photos and up to date news its much easier to put across the full story.
The various photo galleries will be added to steadily throughout the year as we take more photos and we will try to keep the 'What to do' page full of everything 'happening' on Skye.
As you can see on the map we are towards the north of the island, in fact it takes about an hour to drive the 50 miles from the Skye Bridge at Kyle of Lochalsh to our home. The island is surprisingly large and although thinly populated there is much to do and see for the visitor, much of it yet to be discovered by us even.
